When you use the Fertility Companion app, we collect the information you enter yourself — basal body temperature, cervical mucus, LH test results, intercourse and period tracking, notes, journal entries, and messages you send to your consultant, including any photos attached to those messages.
If you choose to connect an Oura Ring, we also receive your nightly temperature readings from Oura (via Oura's own official login — we never see your Oura password). This is entirely optional and can be turned off at any time from your chart page.
Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers hosted on Amazon Web Services via Supabase — AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS encryption in transit (HTTPS), and row-level security so that only you and your assigned consultant can access it.
We use Supabase (database and file storage) and, if you connect it, Oura (nightly temperature readings) and Vercel (hosting). None of these providers use your data for their own purposes — they store or transmit it on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
We never sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
You may request complete deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at bridget@functionalfertilityco.com. All cycle data, messages, photos, and connected-service data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request. Disconnecting Oura also immediately deletes your stored Oura access tokens.
